It's Fall, Where The Hell Did Summer Go? Contest Closed

Hello Crushers! I've noticed the older I get, the faster time flies. There are days that seem endless, but when that day comes to an end, the week has disappeared with it.

Fall is definitely biting at Summers back door now and before you know it some wise guy will soon be saying lol "do you realize you only have 108 days before Christmas" lmao (I've always wanted to say that and finally got the chance hehee)

I think, as of today, that the majority of our Little Crushers are now back in school and probably working hard on their reports of what they did this summer.

Sooooo Crushers, tell us all "What did you do this summer?" Did you go on vacation? Go Camping? Boating? Visiting Relatives? Or just stay home and watch your lawns turn brown and the weeds grow bigger and greener like I did? lol

Hope you had a great summer and enjoy what is left. My summer was full of fun and full of tears. I enjoyed my family, friends, restaurants, the beach, and just relaxing reading books while soaking up the sun. I really enjoyed this summer except for a few funerals of family and friends. Seems to have been a wonderful summer, but least we forget Katrina and the heartbreak she is still causing. mackieo

Had a GREAT summer! The highpoint I would say is the Momma/Daughter trip my daughter and I took... we live in Michigan and it was only to Ohio.. but neither one of us had been to Cedar Point this year yet, nor had we taken a "road trip" before.. just the girls. JUST the sort of thing we needed right before she started highschool this year.. We had a GREAT time!

The other trip I took was with my SO, for my birthday he took me to see Richard Black in Detroit.. and then off to Canada, Windsor to the casino and stay on the TOP floor (executive suite!! YEAH!!) of the Hilton. I lost in the casino, but had a GREAT time regardless... He's soooo good to me!

Hope ya'll had a good summer as well!! Next is Halloween!!! ARGH!!! LOL

Ohhhhhhh Orangie why did you have to remind us that summer is about over???
I sat back and soaked up the warmth and enjoyed every moment of the 90 degree + days. No vacation here, just some picnics and gatherings with friends and family. A wedding, a couple of birthdays, some softball games, even tossed a few horseshoes for the first time in years (LOL now that was a disaster).
I wish it didn't have to end!

I spent my time bowling and playing at a place, let's call it CRUSHVILLE. It was too hot here most of the time to do anything else and we take our trips in the spring and fall.

Hi All , I spent most of my summer being with my grand babys .We went to the beach , took them to the 4 th of july parade .One weekend we had a camp fire and made smores over the fire .We went garage sale hopping .I don't usually don't get to see them much , but this year was differant .I guess thats because I have a new grand child .I love the grandbabys they can keep you bussy . The other thing I did most of my summer was putts in my gardens .Thats about it ,It was a nice summer

dear orange, we spent a lot of time , with kids and grandkids this year, going up to our pool , that we enjoy at our apartment. mostly seniors here. soweve had a pool all to ourselfs, it was like having a private pool without upkeep lol. we usually go on vac. in oct, the weather is a lot better , but with katrina hitting and rising gas , i think will skip this year. ty josie46

I had my two grandkids all summer , we took them to Mackinaw City but had to stay indoors cause it was to hot outside, they had an indoor water play area where we stayed the kids had a ball and so did we. i spend most of the summer taking them to the beach i dont remember have a summer this hot. I can't wait for winter.

Well, I had quite a busy summer as i spent a month with the wifes family in England, lots of day trips, visiting relatives and great family nights in and out.
We had a great time and the weather was also on our side, neither too hot or cold, the kids loved it as well.

Hello all. Out here in Arizona the summer doesn't end for about another 2 months. I am sure though that the rest of it is going to be the same. Boring....however I am glad that I stumbled upon the CC forum. It gave me something to do, I made a couple of friends here, and I really do appreciate everything at the Crush. Thanks for making an Arizona sweat your @#$ off summer a little cooler.

I missed the summer ~ didn't get to enjoy it at all with being out of work and all. I had to cut back on any type of expenses, so I really didn't get to do much. But, thanks to the Lord I am finally back at work and will hopefully get to enjoy next summer (my favorite time of the year )

Well this summer was just busy watching my two grandkids while my daughter started a new job. We have been too broke to do anything so it was mostly home stuff. One day just like the next. However, I got to take a few minutes here and there to pop on to CC to see what was happening. My relaxation for the day LOL
For those of you who really got to enjoy your summer it sounded wonderful! Wish I was there!! But of course I wouldn't give up my grandkids for nothing..... well maybe for a day or two to myself ROFL

I did nothing of interest this summer.I worked and played on the computer.Know that i am thinking of this I wish i would of done some thing.I will make sure not to waist my next summer.thank you,shirlsplay
