Installing Casinos Fail In Windows 10 - Help/suggestions Pls

Hi CCers,

my problem is myself. Almost every install / setup process i begin for an online casino fails. i dont know how to evaluate the cause or find a remedy. At least a dozen or so have failed in the last week. I hope the download images work. please let me know..... thanks so very much to anyone willing to help me figure out what is wrong. I give up.

Win 10 / 8GB RAM / Intel Core i5 / 1TB HD

I am having to reinstall every online casino that I
normally play at onto my new laptop. It is not working
and i dont know why. Any help will be appreciated.
Out of a dozen+ attempts I have only successfully installed 4 casinos....Red Stag, Liberty Slots, Classic Casino
and Slots of Vegas.

Below is the error mssg that appears after setup begins.

I have tried a second setup after I open the properties window and select "Run in Compatibility Mode", selecting either 7 or 8. The setup process still fails.

Hi there kianme,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems installing some casinos.

I suspect if you have a new laptop, then you possibly are using a different anti-virus / internet security program perhaps (or maybe you just are using the standard Windows Defender).

It could be that the system is trying to protect you against suspicious installation files -- to check if that is the case - it depends on which internet security program you use -- but you should try and look at its history / recent events as it might show up there.

I also have a Windows 10 64 bit laptop and use Norton Internet Security (as I've used it for many years without any problems) and I didn't get any errors like that APART FROM -- there were a couple of Microgaming Casinos that I tried to install, including 32 Red which I'm very sure is fine - that Norton deleted automatically (but it did pop up and tell me this - so when I went to try to run the install - it wasn't there).

I would suggest checking your Internet Security to see if it has been blocking them, and if so, then find how to exclude those files in future checks (so long as you are sure they are safe casinos of course).

Another suggestion would be to send your screenshots to support at one of the casinos and if you're getting a similar problem with all - I suspect that the same solution will work for all the rest. I very much suspect though it is a internet security/anti-virus/anti-malware program that might be "trying to help" ...

For many new PCs these days the manufacturer often installs this "bloatware" - stuff that you don't necessarily need as they get a commission if you continue to use it after the trial period --- but if it's a program you don't recognize or need then uninstall it, reboot and try again (but just one at a time in case) and keep any discs etc that came with your new laptop in case you need to re-install something.

That's the best help I can suggest without sitting at the computer myself.

If anyone else has had this problem and resolved it - then of course please be sure to post your solution

thank you for replying. i am going to try your suggestions today. the laptop came with pre-installed McAfee for only 30 days. Best Buy gave me a 6 month subscription to Webroot AntiVirus etc. protection. I may have actually installed the 4 working casinos prior to installing Webroot. That would be great, if it is just an antivirus /security issue.🎰 (i did uninstall the McAfee before installing Webroot).
