Our Family Needs Some Prayers.

Since CC is my second home I came here to ask for some prayers for my grandson Jonathon. He is 11 years old and he has had lumps on his neck for awhile. First test came back inconclusive. Day before yesterday they did a biopsy as they were getting bigger since the last test.

Yesterday, we found out he has cancer. Hodgkins Disease. Which thank God is treatable. Next week my daughter is taking him to the Childrens Cancer Center to start treatment. They are doing a body catscan (sp?) to check the rest of his body to see if it has spread anywhere else.

So I just wanted some prayers to make it localized, easy to treat and he becomes cancer free.

Oh gosh Val, i dearly hope things get better for him and hope the scan shows him clear of ill health everywhere else. He's too young to have these problems.x

I will be praying often and long that this is very local and the treatment works, relatively pain free and quickly.

I will pick up a slow burning candle to light for him today!

sorry to hear that val and hope the scans bring some better news for the family...hope the treatment works well and he makes a quick recovery as its a terrible thing for anyone to have especially at that age

I think that this boy is going to have so many prays to help him beat this that he will. Tell him he hit the pray jackpot!! and i too will burn a candle for him tonight!!

What was the most heartbreaking of all is when they told him what he had, the first thing out of his mouth was, "Am I gonna die?"

That is a question no 11 year old should have to ask. It broke my heart.
