Monica In Hospital - 29 Nov 2008

Hi,


Yesterday in afternoon Bingo I was kidding about Monica and going to the Doctors due to chest pains because she thought she was having/had a heart attack and I had told her that if she had or was having a heart attack she wouldn't be calling and telling me about it...we all thought ok it's probably anxiety or pneumonia as Monica can sometimes be a drama queen but I guess can't we all be when it comes to chest pains...

Well when Monica finally seen the Doctor they rushed her by Ambulance to the Hospital because she had been having the chest pains for 3 days and it hadn't eased up...Monica never told me that part, or I would not have joked about it....

The Doctors believe she has Angina, a condition which our Mother has and our Grandmother had...

You know I feel like such a poo for making light of this due to Monica only being 43yrs old....

I had also mentioned to Monica yesterday that Geno was going to Host both sessions of Chat today and she got all exicited....hmmm I wonder if Geno has this affect on ALL WOMEN

Also she was going to take a bath with Bower when she got home yesterday...hmmm that probably did it also..

I tell you since Monica has been a Crusher her health has gone down hill I think it's all the excitment of Chat/Bingo/Al/Bower/Geno etc...

Anyway I don't mean to make light of this situation but that's how I'm handling it right now...I didn't sleep alll night and have been worried sick..I just want her to be home and feeling well...

If you could all keep her in your thoughts and prayers I would appreciate it as I'm sure Monica would also...I know talking to our Mother that Monica is an emotional mess as you can imagine...

hun, you tell Monica she is in my thoughts and prayers daily........and not just because she is sick, but because I pray daily for alll crushers. I wish her a speedy recovery.

I will remember her in my prayers Sarah; I'm sure the docs are taking good care of her and will set her right; make sure you take care of your self too-you don't do her much good if you are full of guilt and exhausted. God bless you both and hang in there and tell Monica to get well soon.

Sarah,you give her my best wishes and prayers.I developed it at 33.You just change your life style and everything will be fine.Tell her the bath is still on the agenda,we'll just have to take it real slow,isn't that how it's suppose to be?

Monica is in all our prayers, Sarah. Get a laptop up to that hospital so we can see her at chat tonight!! My mother dealt with the same condition for years. As Bower said with medication and some lifestyle changes she should be fine and continue to steal your boyfriends for another 50 years!

I went to the walk in clinic yesterday as I have had a cold for a few weeks now ( like everyone else) and was feeling just some tighness in my chest from congestion. I was only going to get antibiotics so I could have a good 2 days of meds before starting another full work week on Monday.

This doctor, he made me so mad. Just went right over the edge. First of all if it would have been my heart after 3 days of chest tighness I am sure I would have had something go wrong.. I knew it was just my cold!

The doctor then rushed and had me hooked up to heart monitors, had the ambulance on it's way and me in a panic.. Not to mention having my 19 year old son with the keys to my car waiting at the clinic for someone to come who could drive my car (that was more worrysome) I thought the little bugger was going to take my car for a joy ride.. but he did not.

So after blood tests, chest Xrays ( wish you would have been there for that AL), 7 hours waiting and lots of monitors the doctor deemed my heart was perfectly fine, just a bad cold ( as I thought). I finally arrived home at 3 am more exhausted than I had started with..

I am taking antibiotics and dealing with the lingering cold just fine!

I love you all, I have some shopping to do today so I will miss chat this afternoon.. but you can bet your a$$es that I will be here tonight at 9.

I'm so fricking glad I'm the last to know about everything in our family I found out Monica was home way after I posted this in the forum...

Apparently Monica is going to be fine after talking to her and reading her post...which is a good thing...

I think Monica should be banned from Chat tonight for making me worry so much and not keeping me up to date
