Italian Earthquakes - Casino Crush Forums - 08 Apr 2009

morning all...i just thought id post as ive just been watching more on the news about the earthquakes in italy earlier in the week...as we have several italian members id just like to express my best wishes and say my thoughts are with anyone involved over there...such a tragedy for such a beautiful country and for all the lives that have been lost..i hope that they manage to rescue many more from all the destruction that has been left and my thoughts are with all those that have lost someone they love or that is still missing

That was a tragedy. There are about 300 victims and others are under the fallen walls. I live about 3 hours by cars from Abruzzo. Personally i heard the earthquake, but fortunately no damage in my region. I live in Basilicata. We had a terrible earthquake in 1980. About 3,000 victims and all our houses were rebuilded. When i hear about a earthquake i cry. At the moment i contacted the CRI (Italian Red Cross) (i'm a volontary) and if they need my help, i'm ready to leave and go in Abruzzo with my son, to give a helping hand.
Please keep in your thoughts and prayers Abruzzo populations.

I just think earthquakes have got to be the scariest thing, in the UK we don't get them, well not like that we don't anyway.

id agree with patti you are a gem anna for all the voluntary work you do as theres not many people these days that think and help others with no benefit to themselves.....and ty for your kind words towards me again patti lol tho gentlemans not normally how i get describes lmao
