Players Only Casino - 23 Feb 2008

I have seen on other forums that downloading this casino may be bad for your computer! I was advised to search to see if the file - Sacc.exe - was on my computer and to remove it if it was.

I did a search on my computer and did't find anything, but I have Windows Vista.

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

THANKS FOR THE INFO I CURRENTLY HAVE PLAYERS ONLY CASINO DOWNLOADED BUT I DIDN'T KNOW OF ANY AD WARE. I SEARCHED FOR FILE sacc.exe AND can't FIND IT ON MY COMPUTER.. I RAN MY LAVA SOFT, SPY-BOT, AVR DEEP ROOT, AVR SPY WARE , AND AVR P, NOTHING, I WOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT RUNNING THESE PROGRAMS... SO, AS FAR AS I CAN TELL THERE IS NO sacc.exe... BUT, ALL GAMBLERS WHO PLAY ANY, REPEAT, ANY ONLINE CASINO ARE VULNERABLE TO AD WARE AND COOKIES.. THE ONLY CASINO'S I EVER CAUGHT A VIRUS THROUGH AND THAT LITERALLY SHUT DOWN MY SYSTEM WAS GOLDEN PALACE AND A G-FED CASINO ...... IT HAPPENS BUT I HAVE SINCE IMPROVED MY COMPUTER AND I NOW NOW IF A TROJAN OR VIRUS, AD WARE ETC, ARE KNOCKIN ON MY DOOR LOL AND I KILL EM ON THE SPOT....... Thank You, very much for the posts! i'm running windows vista also, and i have a few programs running to prevent any virus and malware. about a yr ago i had a virus on my computer, and i think it was caused by FED casinos and playtech casinos. anyway my AVG free editon anti virus software is, in my opinion the best! (just my opinions, don't want to offend anyone) please can you post how you found out if you have sacc.exe.. on your computer? i already removed players only casino. Thank You,

i saw that too gjr i had downloaded before i saw those comments the only thing was that it was really slow to down load but my comp seems fine. i have scanned it for spy/ad ware and its ok . thankyou for the info gjr and starmac.

well its a little complicated luvslots to exsplain how to search but trust me if you ran avr you are probally good, i would suggest instALLING SPY-BOT IT IS FREE and it is by far the best. spy Bot has saved my ass more than once and will detect a\nd kill trojans on the spot

Anyhow I wanted to tell you how to search for the exe file on your computer. its simple. Go to your start button on bottom left corner. Then right above run there is a place to push a search button. press that then put in the sacc.exe(sp double check) and press search. search in your local c drive. That way after the search it will list it if it is there.K (((HUGS))) Steff

I know what you mean about adaware and trojans that are downloaded by the casinos. Last week, I was bombarded with trojans, malware, hijackers, etc. If you suspect, or want to find out if you have any affected files and need to have them cleaned then follow these two steps:


1) Go to https://www.geekstogo.com/forum/forums.html. Here you will get a personal one on one evaluation and instructions to remove and clean your computer of any spyware, malware, trojans, or any infection.


2) Download HIJACKTHIS, install and run program.

This is how HijackThis looks when it first opened.
1. Click the button labeled Do a system scan and save a logfile.
2. HijackThis will quickly scan your system, and then open two new windows. The results of the HijackThis scan, and hijackthis.log in Notepad. Save hijackthis.log. By default it will be saved to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis, or you can chose Save As, and save to another location.

Hijackthis.log contains the info thats required to receive analysis and assistance. Highlight the entire contents. Copy and paste the contents into your post, along with a complete description of your problem(s). DO NOT fix anything. Wait for help.

My computer was so infected with spyware, adware, trojans, malware, and other problems, but they were very patient and my computer is now cleaned.
