hi bob, i just seen your post and i also have had issues
with this game, i have been playing and then all of a sudden it will not let me
go to the next round after acquiring a lot of points only to be left with nothing.

i really love this game too.

One of my favorite games in this Arcade is Wh. of Fortune too, despite the glitches it has, and there are a few! There are multiple solutions containing errors, I've found. I wish I could remember them, but I probably won't. There's one that's a song by Huey Lewis, and it says it's somebody who I can never imagine singing this hokey Huey Lewis song - maybe Robert Palmer, it might say? And a few other spelling errors or typo type errors.

But those are no big deal. But the one Sharon030161... mentioned above is one that is a big bad deal to me. That's so maddening to play the entire game and then at the end, it just sits there, with no way to submit points, and the only thing you can do is reset the game, meaning, of course, that you lose that game's points, and not just the level or round points, but all 3 levels , the entire game, ends up being all for nothing.

I've found that at least it is consistent when it will hang like this. I mean, it happens on the same puzzles each time. And I sometimes recognize them when I get them, which is good, because I can quit the game when I see one of these that I know will hang, and I don't waste any more time on that game which will be lost in the end.

But just because I may recognize them when I see them (and I don't always) does not mean I remember them now, or I'd list them here so we could all jump ship when we see them come up.

One that I THINK I do remember is DAVID COPPERFIELD/ CHARLES DICKENS... I'm fairly certain that that is one of them that will pi*s you off at the end by not letting you submit your points so you lose the whole game. So if you get that one, I would say just RESET, don't even try playing it... I think it's the same with it every time. Plus it's a Round One puzzle, so that's good that you don't have to waste any of the other levels before you get to it. Unfortunately, they're not all that way... some of the bad ones are in Level 2 or even 3, so we really should make note of them when we get them, so we can quit them when we see them.

Because it doesn't matter which round they show up in, if we don't recognize them ... even if it's in the first round, it's just as bad, if we don't know it when we see it and reset the game.

Because I'm sure that if a particular puzzle does that to you once, it will do it every other time you get that puzzle.

So I hope people will make a note of any specific puzzles (solutions) that have this error and share them here in the forum, so we can all avoid them!

Wow. The very next game I tried to play did the same thing! That was the puzzle above.

I believe I remember Geno replying to this problem before.I think it was out of his hands.I think he said it was the company that suppplied the games that control these problems.

OK, NOW guess what just happened?
RIght after my last post where I told you about ANOTHER puzzle that's messed up at the end, I RESET to play again, and I couldn't believe it, but the very first one was the same one again (ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST/QUEEN).

But it was in Round 3 the other time when it didn't work, and this was in Round 1, so I went ahead and played it anyway, just so we could find out if it matters which round it shows up in. I kinda thought that it might work since it showed up in a different round this time...
but I WAS WRONG!

We now know it matters not which round it appears in - ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST is always going to be one of THOSE puzzles that won't work in the end and wastes your time etc etc. And so will all those others that I've posted in this thread as I've come across them, I can only assume. So remember 'em! Time is money and money's time and what was time again? (Money!) lol

I love the Wheel and play it most of all the games. I know if I get the following to stop right then and re-set the game.

It can really be frustrating if one of the above is the last puzzle and you have a high score but I still choose to play the game and hope none of them shows up....sort of like gambling

i was wondering in the wheel of fortune game can you guess the puzzle when you think you have it? It wont let me. I have to guess all the letters and then submit vowels and all. usually hit bankrupt before i spin all the letters. Is this how it is meant to work????
