Good Morning Everyone,
It is 7:44 am here and I am happy to report Furlik is on his way to recovery.
I was very sceptical about 2 hours ago, When Mick (my hubby was leaving for work) there was no sign of Furlik being able to move his back legs. I just layed with him in bed loving him ( as much as he could tolerate ) We both fell asleep. I was awakened to Furlik standing up wanting to jump off the bed... although we took our bed off the frame and have a stool at the end of it. I did not want him jumping off of the bed. I picked him out to take him out to pee and he was using his back legs. Mind you, he is a bit wobbly and can only walk about 10 feet until he has to sit again or his back legs fall behind him but DANG, he just waits it out and tries to move again. I have not yet called the Vet to inform him of Furliks progress but yesterday the Vet said we need to see some sign of improvement of Furlik being able to use his back legs again...
and Yipeeee, WOOT, WOOT.. I am hopeful now.
