Final Warning To Non-stop Repeat Posters

Dear Crushers,

For another time, it's been brought to my attention that our No Deposit forum particularly is being covered and covered with 'the same old offers' again and again.

Whilst there is some merit in having them re-posted AFTER A WHILE (like a month or so), there really is no point in 'battling to be on the first page'..

HERE ARE THE FACTS:

- Any NEW gambler looking at the No Deposit page can quite easily go through the pages to find new ones - which if that is what they are after - they will do!

- ALL posted topics (old and new) get LUU clicks and many topics are found via the search engines too and of course keep there.

- IF YOU MAKE TOO MANY DUPLICATE POSTS - it REDUCES the possibility of them being found in search engines (as they see it as try to spam keywords/subjects etc).

Now, I've politely asked those doing this a lot to 'be sensible' and not imposed any posting bans or limits HOPING that people will 'be sensible'..

This is the last chance before I do start imposing limits AND/OR banning members from taking part in the LUU contests.

So, here's the new rules:
If you're posting an 'old' (ie. something you or another member has posted before) in the No Deposit forum, ONLY POST A MAXIMUM OF 2 IN A ROW before posting further offers.
NEW RULE ADDED APRIL 2010:
If you already have 5 (or more) topics that you started showing on the 1st page of the No Deposit forum - you should wait before posting any further promotions (particularly if for the same casino / an older offer). HINT: Best to save your postings for NEW offers (otherwise we start to get people page-hogging which also doesn't look very community-spirited).

This gives everyone a better chance and doesn't make our No Deposit forum look like a place where people are battling against each other but instead - being all about giving genuine NEW and UPDATED information as and when it comes available.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE OTHER FORUMS LINK-US-UP AREA - WHERE WE ASK YOU TO TELL US ABOUT OTHER FORUMS WHERE YOU'VE LINKED TO US FROM.
NOW, the OTHER FORUMS LINK UP is fine to post lots of things one after the other. Because the only purpose of that forum is for members to advise US (the staff) where they have posted links for us at other places. I'm not sure why any other members would want to read that forum lol..

For links to other forums, I don't want to place limits on this, because it really helps us. Of course you should always abide by the terms of the forums you are posting at. Thing is, many members know of different places and ALL valid posts will earn the bonus CC points for LUU.

Also, the Coupons area is only postable to by authorised Coupon Coder members, and this may well result in having many of the same members posting in succession..

After all this discussion,I know it's for the benefit of the continuing success of CC.However I know some members might be scared to post thinking they might be banned.This wasn't a scare tactic from Geno,just one method he is trying to keep control of his livliehood.We just have to be more sensible in how,when and what we post.LUU to me never was a contest,it's one of CC's many reward programs we all profit from.
When new players come on and aren't familiar with how to navigate the site having some NDs on the portal will help them until they learn how to find where they are.We have to remember that clicking on banners is the only source of income for CC.

Does this apply to other promo post besides No Deposit?

Good question Webdeb, I just went to check Other Forums Link - Up and found 6 pages of one person links to other forums. I think that should be limited to couple of posts as well. Seeing those post takes away desire to work on linking us up .
