When I was in high school, Grunge and Alternative music was in (early to mid '90's)...so I was heavily into that. Like today, I've listened to tons of Metal...and still loved Madonna. In my collection of CD's at that time, there was: Nirvana, Metallica, Soundgarden, Alice In Clains, Live, Tori Amos, Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, Candlebox, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Hole, and many others. I still listen to some my high school faves today...but mainly the Metal!

It was the 60's and I was into the "British Invasion" anything by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Who. Also liked The Moody Blues for those "psychedelic" times Wink

Rock and Roll , liked the mellower stuff, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce along with Nazarath, Blue Oyster Cult.

Had to take my music traveling so 8 Tracks were the way to go. Listened to albums at home and at parties.

This is a great one Sarah!!! I love it!! Thank you Smile
I remember thinking I could do anything, anything!!

...I graduated in 1988, I did have cassettes, some albums, and our "stereo" took 8 tracks, but we had a convertor that let you put cassettes in it. LOL

I had a reputation of Heavy Metal, (Ratt, Ozzy, WhiteSnake, Guns N Roses, Metallica) but at home I secretly loved Duran Duran, Adam Ant, Violent Femmes, Oingo Boingo, plus anything that is now an '80's 1 hit wonder (Tone Loc, Salt n Pepa, Berlin, Flock Of Seagulls, so many).
And I used to sneak listening to my older sisters 8 tracks of Gary White (Dream Weaver) anything by The Doors, Blue Oyster Cult, SuperTramp, Stix, Genesus......

And last but not least my super-hidden love of throwing in my moms Freddy Fender & Eddie Rabbit!

Oh wow that was so long ago. I used to play a LOT of 45's and of course the radio. I was in High School in the 60's so I listened to everything from the 40's, 50's and 60's. Loved all kinds of music. Did love Motown and Rock n' Roll, Soul, Country Western - if it was on the radio, I listened to it.

Man, I feel soooo old!!
