I love to go to the beach and practise my favourite sports. I love swimming and water-skiing.

I created for myself and made a double-layered headband out of a couple of extra big bandanas. The effect was a hollow headband to which I could add ice. It keeps me as cool as a cucumber unless I am doing strenuous work, in which case, I use any materal I can find and makethe same kind of icy "bandanas" for additional parts of my body. Then I can carry on as if it were not even a warm day! Tried it?
Also, being a "cleanliness freak" although you would never guess it from all the clutter -- clean clutter" LOL --, in the summer I always do all of my indoors work totally nude. Saves on laundry too. teehee
Seriously, if the rest of society would just go along with me ...OR ignore me...whichever suits them best... I would put into practice my belief that if God wanted us to wear clothes, He would have had us born with them on!!!!!!

On the really Hot and Humid evenings, watching a movie in the air-conditioned TV room, while enjoying a nice dish of ice cream, then grabbing a blanket, cause your freezing!! Kathy

Yes, the Dog Days of Summer are here.
Las Vegas saw a high of 117 degrees today, the Midwest is hot and in a drought, seems like this Summer is going to be one of the hottest on record. But thanks to all the Crushers who entered this contest, we have some great ways to keep cool, relax, and just enjoy!
