Who Is Hotball33 ?? - 23 Sep 2012

was looking at the portal page and noticed hotball33 has over 16 million posts...lmaoo . OMG!!!! do people really spam that much? they weren't there a couple of months ago , so this person must use a bot to post for them a couple at a time would that be right ? do they even have bots to do that ?. thats crazy...lol.

Everything's good..That person was just banned and trolled..No need to worry about your personal info/security..that's why Geno has the spybot and us to make sure these things don't happen..

But every once in a blue moon, when some peeps have nothing better to do, than try to spam us

Only problem is tghnat if you search folr any post by this person there is none to find so it can't be a spammer, this person had to phiscally put that they had this many post in.

Hi guys, not to worry. I removed the post that hotballs made because it looked suspicious. There were no links, pictures etc ... it just looked suspicious, so I put the post in the deleted section for Geno to check out. In the mean time I banned them.

Over the years we have seen this several times where a "real" person comes in, sets up an account, makes a post with "key" words in it and then in a few days/weeks they sick their bots on it.

Geno has done an awesome job on our anti spam program!!! Last time we talked about spammers he told me the program picks up and removes approximately 2000 spams a week automatically. yayyy

As far as hotballs showing so many posts, it appears their bot was very busy. lol

Every now and then you'll see this happen, in a few days their name will be gone.

Its 5 am here, just got up to potty and check the forum out lol ... When I seen this thread I thought I best reply. When I can get both eyes open I'll do a search for similar posts that Geno replied to. I'm sure that his explanation will make more sense then mine does.

Thank you Shirls for your post!!! Every now and then a spammer slips by our anti spam protection and us and with your guys help we can get them we can get them stopped fast before their bots can spam us to death.
