My favorite all time birthday was a long time ago LOL
My kids were young and my Hubby was working farm labor so we didn't have much money to spend on anything much less my birthday!
I had went grocery shopping and Hubby & our 4 kids decorated our house with beautiful decorations colored on the backs of brown paper grocery bags (remember those?LOL) my youngest who was 5 at the time made me a flour and water heart that says "Wurlds Gratest MOM" I still have it!
My daughter who was 10 made her very first from scratch cake and it was delicious,I still get teary eyed thinking about that day...Thank You Geno it is nice to share and to reminisce.

I guess my favorite birthday present ever was 45 years ago on my 5th birthday. MY aunt Kay showed up at the house with a loaf of homemade bread, the double loaf kind that you had to tear apart. I remember wondering if she had flipped her lid giving a 5 year old boy a loaf of bread for his birthday! But when I pulled the bread apart there was a crisp new $1 bill baked in between the loaves. I know $1 doesn't sound like a lot today...but that dollar could buy anything a little boy wanted 45 years ago. I could buy 10 bags of potato chips and 10 chocolate bars at a nickel a piece!!!
That reminds me of my many trips to the candy store when I was a kid...The old guy that owned the store , his name was John Neilie, would fill one of those paper candy bags to the very top for a dime. There were 11 brothers and sisters waiting at home, so I used to walk very very slowly on the way home, knowing full well that bag of candy would disappear as soon as I hit our front yard!!!!!!

To be honest I don't think I have one.......
I really havent gotten anything special or surprising for any of the birthdays I can remember..........
...A bottle of perfume I bought myself and then told my ex to give me....
... Some puzzle books on my sweet 16...
Nope....ya know what... my birthday really sucks... No wonder I want to forget about it next month.....
