My daughter, her ex-hubby (and house mate) and my grandson come over Christmas morning for Brunch. We light up the fireplace and open presents. It's the best part of the holidays.

kids open presents xmas morning, have xmas dinner and eat ,play with kids new games etc and watch tv, have a few drinks if im drinking, nothing special really

Get up and start the turkey and all the trimmings before son and family come in the morning. After they leave finish the trimmings and get ready for the rest of the family for dinner.

we get cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the kids all know they cannot touch anything until we have had a first cup of coffee. So of course at 5 am they are at the door with cups of coffee in hand lol

We don't really have a tradition. I always am included in the Christmas morning opening of gifts with my grandchildren; which is the funnest part.

on cristmas eve after the grandkids go to bed the adults open there gifts and do a little partying, christmas morning the grandkids turn, nice dinner then the cleaning up starts.

Christmas morning, we open gifts (only one person can open a gift at a time, so we all see what they received). Then I make fresh Cinnamon Rolls, a fresh pot of coffee for me and hubby, and hot chocolate for the girls. Then we play games for a while. I do dinner prep through out the day. We eat, then, weather permitting, we go to the park for some tobogganing. When we come home, the girls have hot chocolate and hubby and I have tea, and we all have a big bowl of trifle. After that, its clean up and bed. Angela has to be at work for 4 am on boxing day, so she normally goes to sleep as soon as she finishes her trifle.
