My Grandson wanted an Iphone last Christmas so I gave him his last present to unwrap and told him I saved the best for last. I had put the phone in the bottom of the box and covered it with tissue paper and put a remote control car on top. He tried to act like he wasn't disappointed when he pulled out the car but it showed. He was so happy when I told him to look again and he found his phone. He has since pulled several jokes on me....it's a continuing thing we do to each other.

I gave a friend of mine (he used to smoke a lot) a painting done by me with a cigarette and a match. On it was written "Breaking the glass only in case of emergency"

actually just this year I gave my son a gag gift really. He is always telling chuck norris jokes and so we found a calender with pics of chuck norris and a joke on each month. He thought it was funny.

I can't think of any....when the kids were young though, I never had big money, so I couldn't get a lot. We were the first to have children, so they had a total of 4 aunts and 10 uncles, with grandparents on both sides. My kids got A LOT of gifts. It was great for them and I was happy that they received so much. However, a part of me felt bad because in comparison, my gifts were very small.
