As you all know, Microgaming pulled out of the US market because of the Franklin County (KY) court order allowing the seizure of 141 domain names, all related to internet gaming. Microgaming said it was to difficult to block access to the websites from Kentucky, so decided to just exit the US market. Now that the Court of Appeals have blocked the seizure of the domain names, it should open the door for the return of Microgaming Casino.
As of this post, there has been no comment from Microgaming regarding the court order. Would you support Microgaming should they decide to return to the US? Check the poll.
I will take the poll but just wanted to say I doubt sincerely they would come back untill the USA regulates gambling online. They don't want the Feds coming after them etc etc etc.

Yes, I think it's well too early to even think they might come back.. I think we also have to remember that Microgaming's reasons for pulling out of the market was not something that would have happened had the government/feds taken the action they had.
Hopefully with your new President - we will see some regulation which would help and might well bring back the likes of Microgaming, Playtech etc but I think it would be a long while yet)...
Personally my vote at this point would be 'Yes' - I would support them because I think they were protecting their business for the future and also didn't jump straight into their decision - it was a slow process remember - first it was certain states, then all states for new players..
This is a much bigger topic and I'm more a 'wait and see' person on such things.
It would sure be nice to see Microgaming available to USA players again some time in the future

I guess what I should have said is that Microgaming stopped allowing new US players after Kentucky's Governor had filed the complaint in court, and before the court was to make the ruling effective. The judge indicated that if the sites could show that they were able to deny access my Kentucky resaident, they would not have their domain seized. I would love to hear if microgaming will have any comments regarding this ruling. Right after Microgaming pulled out of the US market for new players, with little or no notice, it caught a lot of Americans off guard. They were not very happy, including the affiliates in the US.
I thought the poll would let microgaming know how much support they can depend on should they decide to come back into the US market.
They left the US New Sign-up Market very suddenly, so you never know, they might come back just as sudden.

Ok, People was told in the US that we would never elect an African American President, but we woke up one day and lo and behold.....we have an African American President (That has a current approval rating of 84%), will our man Bush left with a current approval rating of 27%.
So I might wake up one morning, go to my inbox and see a guzillion, guzillions of microgaming emails. Everyone will get so many emails at once that it would cause a catastropic meltdown of the internet. (lol)

Thank you for your post. I feel that there are a couple of scenario's that could happen to get microsoft to come back.
1) If the Non US Market is not enough to sustain their casino's in the future, and realize that the US gambling economy is a force to be reckon with, or 2) If Obama and the democratic congress reverses the Internet Gambling Law and the Kentucky Appeal is upheld.
If by some chance they do re-enter the US market, I feel, (and this is my opinion) that they would have to KISS UP TO OUR BEHINEY"S and pay the piper. They would have to convince ME that they made a mistake and they won't throw us to the curb on the first bump in the road.
