MY MOTHER(S)....wooowwwweeee...
.this is going to be quite the interestin' post...he,he,he..snickereeeeeng!
Hmmm, well, let me just do a bit 'o 'splainin' first..... I have lived most of my life with my mother...'cept when married for a few....then back to me mudder's ... and life has seen to it that I spend my life thus far with her...however..., as most of you may know.... I have requested prayer for my dad that has cancer..and time and body health of his ..bein' what it is..His time will be quite short... however.... in the time since my siblings and I and our reuniting with our father(missing for 29 years)...I have been blessed with another mother... quite the little spitfire..Sandy, and yet she is always looking out for us (her step-kids).. when we go to visit... she is always considerate and mindful of ....." full tummys/eat Bob..eat Bob, and shopping brings her to the ole "clearance sales..."...and clothing/coats..and keepin' warm!... I have been blessed with the gift of X's 2 Mom's, and I thank God for 'em both!
Mom #1... well, she is as onry as the day is long... and even in her older years
she is the greatest... whether we(grown kids), are in good favor or not...she is a peace keeper.... and you can always tell what she's thankin' just by what we are havin' for dinner.... because that is her tool for tellin' each of us that she loves us... soooo, I know when we're havin' "enchiladas and or she's been bakin' "Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Cookies"....I know, I have made her "I love you" list in some kind of special way!...and each time...it kinda makes it harder to return that special message...yet, we've been a havin' "Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Cookies", quite regularly around this time of year.....Yes, I have been blessed!
I would like to mention a special, "Happy-Mother's Day..to each of you Mom's out there that are even more blessed with having become a member of "Casino-Crush Forum".... soooooooooooo...

i have to say that i put my mom through hell and back when i was a teen.
she might say i have since i have been a grown up.lol
but i have to tell you all, my mom is a rock. she is 68 years young, still works 45 hours a week. her and my dad divorced when i was 22. she married to a wonderful man that died of cancer in 2002. she was a fighter for him. while he layed dying of this terrible disease she continued to work while me and my sister took turns caring for him. when she got home she did not rest until he was rested. my mother has been through hell and back. she is vibrant, loving, caring and a wonderful mom to have. i love her so much i cannot describe in words. i love you mom with all my heart and beyond.

As most of you already know Sisters and I are actually sisters.
As Sisters said, our Mom is the Greatest! I dont know that I could ever be the mother to my children the way she is for me.
Mom is there no matter what... we need her, she is there! She does love us unconditionally and is so proud of her 3 daughters. She is loyal, giving and so generous with herself, extrememly unselfish and see only the good in us.
Love and hugs always Mom
You are the BEST!!
P.S.... Sarah she said "I am her favourite"

My mother and I are as different as night and day. She is 83, so she is from the generation that were servants to their husband and family and basically had no say. She has never drank, smoked, driven a car and only had a couple of in-home child care jobs. I am a liberated, old hippies who has done about everything you can do, since I'm from the drugs, sex and rock and roll generation. My Dad died last November so she now lives in her own trailer, in my brothers backyard, next door. She didn't want to live with either of us and wanted her own place. I run her errands, do her shopping, take her to the doctor, do her laundry and cook her supper each night. Her short-term memory is growing worse each day, she has back trouble, Arthritis and has trouble standing for long. It's the old switch-aroo...the child is now the parent. I know I am making her last years happier and easier by making sure she has everything she wants and needs. I hope I am a shining example for my daughter and she will do the same for me, if and when I am like my Mom.
The biggest difference is my stories of the "Good old days" will be much more "interesting".
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MY FELLOW CCer's MOMS

Hello, my dearest sitemates ~
I just typed a lo-o-ong post here and then my computer lost it!
Probably just as well, as I tend to get a little overly emotional sometimes here at Crush.
So I will just say now: Each and every one of you who have posted so far have touched my heart in a powerful, powerful way! I am so proud to be your sitemate!

My Mom is and always will be awesome . She had 11 children I was the youngest of 11 . she was married 2 times her first husband was the love of her life . His job was working for the power company . one day a squirrel got into a electrical box on the top of a power pole and he was to get the dead squirrel out of the electrical box and it took his life that day leaving my mom with 6 children . I am not sure how many years later she meet my dad and got married had 5 more children . Had a very hard life with him . He was a alcoholic and very abusive to her . They separated when I was 2 years old and she raised us all by herself . which I think she did a awesome job . We had it very hard life but I feel we are all better loving adults because of this . Many times there was not much in the house to eat but mom always found a way to make us all happy and very full tummies too . She could make a meal or soup out of just about any thing . I have learned that task from her very well too . She had thought us all how to do the same . I love and miss her very much . She passed away very young I feel age 75 . She seem to be so healthy but started to having problems with her heart . And doctors did not know what to do for her . Said it just was her time . I prayed and prayed but no prayers worked . And now she is gone but never ever forgotten . Mom I just want you to know I love you with all my heart , Happy Mothers Day . You made me the mom I wanted to be just like you . Your awesome

I have a wonderful, loving, caring, smart mother and I wouldnt trade her nor anything about my childhood for nothing. My mom was also a foster mother to over 100 children and handicapped adults and now at the age of 73 married a man this year she has dated for 7 years after staying single and alone many years after my father passed away.My mom is a snowbird living in San Flipe and comes home for the summer but is so caring and concerned was here right away for my surgery even though it takes a toll on her with a bad heart to travel 5 days to get here but she did.she had her last of 7 of us at 44 years old and still babies each and all of us...I couldnt and wouldnt ask for a better mother.

Well this one took a while for me to answer. My mother passed away about 5 years ago now and we miss her dearly. She was always there when you needed her, well for her grandkids and I as an adult. I honestly could not say that about when I was a child growing up with her. She was a completely different person after her mom died and her husband of 13 years left her. After that she and I grew very close. She lived with us on and off for many years. She was helping my raise my children and doing a great job with it. When she took her own life finally from the depression she had been in for all those years my family and I were devistated. My children were very very close to her and had a rough time of dealing with her death. My mother was cremated and the funeral was hard. My 4 year old, at the time, made it very hard for all. She kept asking how grandma fit into that little box. Then she walked up to the box and bent down to it. She knocked on it and asked " grandma are you in there" It was a very hard time. I am actually just this year finally getting over it and dealing with it better.
Come mother's day and most other holidays, she is missed deeply.
