Wow this topic's hotted up nicely - thanks for all your responses.
I really hope to get my first few months of the year fully planned (1st conference of the year is end of Jan - luckily in London so nice and close for me).
I will do my best to set some dates for some time around the start of April but will confirm once I've checked the full schedule of conferences etc for the first half of the year.
Thanks all and look forward to meeting up with many of you in Vegas

I am still trying to arrange a visit to LV in February, haven't decided what dates we are going. We will wait until the week before we go to book our rooms. When we lived in LV, Patrick worked at the Circus Circus, and the Fitzgerald, so he has always been able to get some good room rates. They may not be at the Luxor, and all the high end casino's on the strip, but a lot of the downtown casino's have very nice rooms at a good price.
We will still be available to go in April or so.
As our two kids (cats) kiki and snoopy always say.

Well, before you know it March will be flying out the window, then it will be April. That would be a very good month for me to go, because I would be going to Laughlin first, then meet up with everyone in Las Vegas.
I'm going to wait until August or September to go up to Reno. I like going their in the fall, when the temperature is just right.
I have decided that sometime within the next year or two, I am going to fly out to French Lick, Indiana. They have a very nice casino there. I found out last year that my ancestors on my father's side are from French Lick, Indiana. Since the population in the late 1800's and early 1900's was around 1000, and the current population is around 4,000. I might actually run into some of my distant relatives on my father's side.
That would be kind of awesome, especially if a lot of them work at the casino, since they are from there.
I could only wish, can't I.
Hope everything can come together for the Las Vegas trip.
Well I didn't vote mainly because I know I can't go. No money for it but I hope you all will have a blast and I will be there in mind and heart! Don't forget to take crazy pics of you all and post them here of the trip!!!!
