1 pkg Chocolate Cake Mix (18 1/4 oz)
2 Cans Vanilla Frosting (16 oz each)
48 Vanilla Wafers
Red Hot Candies, Red Gumdrops, Red & Black Shoestring Licorice
Prepare cake batter and bake according to pkg directions for cupcakes, using foil or paper muffin cups.
Remove from pans to wire racks and cool completely.
Frost cupcakes generously with frosting.
For ears, position 2 vanilla waferson each cupcake.
Add red hots for eyes and gumdrops for noses.
Insert short pieces of red shoestring licorice for whiskers.
For mouth, cut a small piece of black shoestring licorice, cutting length wise almost to the end and place under gumdrop.
