Geno, and any and all users of Windows Vista Home Premium.. I have been back and forth with soooo very many Tech Support staff regarding the lack and ability of my ISP (mine is Netzero), and their software (VEGAS TECHNOLOGY), in regards to getting them to connect so that gaming and free roll tourney fun can again resume!!

I have been told and given instructions... followed to the letter..with no success.. and am continually be told to do the same thing... and no one has fixed the problem....

I have an example of a chat session, in which, I have found myself just shooved to the side.... after pleading for understanding...I make this last request... to you My friend, in truth!!,,, GENO help us get our games back, and see if you can get to the gritty nitty of our plight!!!.... if anyone can get the real skinny skivie of it all it is you!!

Please read the copy of the chat transcripts recently (just prior to this post), and note the comment of mine on the lack of registered member numbers being as high as it should be.. by this, I believe I am not alone in the inability to even play anymore at any of the Vegas TECH Casinos unless ... someone can get to the bottom of it all with understanding.

So far, I have gotten just a smidge closer to success having turned off any and ALL firewalls while the software is downloading... that is to say.. It begins to recognize/launch the updating of ##'d cabs. and various other updating necessary to even get the casino lobby to open .. let alone login to the casino so that one might be allowed the new games to be available for download, thus played in Real $$ mode or Tournies for that matter...

Please Geno, it will truly help so very many of our fellowsitemates, as well as maybe many new ones to...just knowin' you are on our side... I am knowin' you should have your seat at the UN specially reserved in your honor... Please, Geno, You are my last for these tournies and as specified many many others as well.... We appreciate all and any help with this matter and all others past present and future... GENO ROCKS THE CRUSH!!

Hi Bob and Patti, Geno has been very busy doing some exciting deals with Casinos for us and I'm not sure if he has seen your post Bob. I will make sure he see's it after the weekend (sooner if he hasn't gone for the weekend hehee)

I have been in contact with Geno..and I am relieved and thrilled ta let ya know.. he is on task..or better yet on the case... of course at his discretionary abilities..although I have noticed we don't have a new "Maze Game" yet.. Dear all,

For info, I did try this all out and sent Bob my findings so far.. I didn't have any problems from a fresh installation (didn't have it installed ever before on the PC I tried it)..

This was on a Vista Home Premium edition.

So, as far as I can tell it definitely 'should' work for others and I can only put the possibilities down to firewall or other settings.

Actually one unusual setting I do have un-set is the UAC (User Account Control) (go to Control Panel -> Users - and then un-set the setting - requires a reboot).. That's the only possible option I can think of and you should consider and accept the warnings before accepting the change of no UAC.

Hope this helps someone .. and Bob if there's specific games you wanted me to try - please let me know and I'll give them a whirl wink
