I think that the change might have a negative effect on players who came regularly in the past. They might think to pop in but there won't be anyone there at the time they are accustomed to going to Bingo.
Gloria, suggestions are always welcomed and of course you may post them here for Bingo..Also change is not always easy and we can't please everyone although we do try.
Afternoon Bingo time is going to stay the same thus far, it is only the evening Bingo that we are looking to change.
Too be quite honest 7 pm is much easier for me than 9 pm

if it changes to 7pm it would be a lot easier for me to come to bingo. 9pm is actually 6pm my time and that is right during dinner and sometimes when I am out shopping or gambling lol. There's nothing wrong with trying out at 7pm , no one can say for sure what will happen. maybe more new players will join or not. and most of all if it is more better for sarah and rita than I think we should support changing the time to 7pm est. look at all what they do for us . where theres a will theres a way for players to be here for bingo. all but maw cause she has bowling , maybe we could also change a day so it don't effect maws bowling on Mondays. or maybe maw could get a cheap tablet , so she could play bingo while bowling..lol. unless she has a iphone. I know like in December tablets will be really cheap before xmas. and get a stand for it and maw could put it behind the chairs where the bowling ball for the public are at and in between bowling just make sure she not thrown out of chat . or maybe lol. since nono also has a problem with 7pm maybe as long as maw and nono have there cards opened at home , if they win , either sarah or rita call for them. as long as it is not every night..lol. I would not have a problem with that and I would hope that no one else would either . they have both been here for soooooooo long and I felt bad for voting for 7pm but I think it's workable so they can still play if it changes to 7pm. just some ideas to think about.
ok, I have been pretty quiet until now about this, but if the time changes, I might as well give up on bingo all together. I have therapy in the afternoons and therapy at home from 6:30-7:30pm. That leaves me sat and sun afternoons to play. I will definitely miss all my bingo buddies, but I cannot change my therapist's schedule.
Now I have said my nickle's worth....... even 8 pm would work, but not 7pm.

I was just thinkin.....maybe we could have "chat games" for points (something like what Geno does) for added fun. Maybe that would draw more people to keep coming back to Bingo.
OR even if we can't play $$$ games, maybe have a pattern bingo more often (for points or not). I think this would also add more fun to the Bingo sessions.

I'm afraid when we had to cut the budget we also had a lot of members "cut" out on us. I was hoping to temp some of them back (and I appreciate your ideas Gloria thank you) to refresh their memory that we're family here and you can't find what we have here anywhere on the internet!!!
We did not mean to offened anyone especially our loyal members and I do apologize if we did.
I really appreciate everyones input/suggestions and comments and we'll leave this poll open for a few more days, then I'll have Geno send me a list of the members who voted and let you know the results.
Again thank you Everyone you really are the BEST and very much appreciated!!!

Shirls I appreciate your thoughts but If I can't make it to bingo then so be it. I couldn't leave my card open and expect Sarah or Rita to call it for me, it wouldn't be fair to the others who are there. I would never accept such preferential treatment .
I never dreamed in a million years that a possible bingo time change would ruffle so many feathers and cause such unrest
Rita & I are doing the best we can trying to get some of our old members back to bingo and have some new ones join our bingo family..
Everyone's suggestions & input will be considered with the votes..CC is the BEST Forum around and we want to keep it that way with all of you (our family)..
