PostPosted: Thu Nov 12, 2009 10:50 pm    EcoCard - no longer a payment option for CC prize payments Reply with quoteBack to top

Hi there Crushers,

Unfortunately, we have been informed by EcoCard, that this is no longer an option for us. (International Peer to Peer transactions are no longer allowed) due to their new policies / new restrictions.

The only other option we have available currently is Paypal (or payments to your Stryyke casino account - converted from USD to EUR).

So, I ask you please to set up a Paypal account / Stryyke account (please use our banner if setting up a Stryyke account) if you have not already.. AND ...

Please update your Payment Method / account info via the 'My Payment Method' option on the CC forum menu.

This also applies to Poker Crush / Bingo Crush.

Apologies for this news which is unfortunately beyond our control.

If we have other options available in future we will of course let you know.

Unfortunately, pre-paid cards are NOT an option at the moment.

Thanks
Geno/CC

how coincidental is that? in the last couple of weeks i've been having problems with ecocard and their lack of weekend support really set me back.

geno...would it be possible for you to look into Interac? - more so for Canadians.

The Interac Online service was specifically designed to allow customers to pay for goods and services from an online merchant. The transaction begins and ends at the merchant's website, and the process is very simple for a consumer. Furthermore, consumers are protected by our Customer Commitment

Interac Email Money Transfer, on the other hand, is an online person-to-person funds transfer service, designed to send money between people who know and trust each other. While consumers can use it to send money to merchants, such a transaction is less convenient (since the consumer needs to enter the merchant and transaction information manually), and (like sending cash or a cheque) does not provide inherent protection against a fraudulent merchant.

RBcasino,

EcoCard hasn't closed - only as a possibility for CC to make payments for prizes.

cocakolakid,

I'll look into this, if you can please let me know the website where I can find all the info wink

Thanks
Geno/CC

sure thing geno...

interac dot ca

another way is to get yourself a Canadian bank account as the service is available at all major Canadian banks. Payments are instant and very simple to do. There is a $1.50 service charge for each transaction.

Poker Crush doesn't give Strykke as an option.

If its ok geno I would just like to wait to see if you are going to get the email money transfer as an option. Would that be ok even though I have payments waiting?

i was curious to know this as well.

bower - regarding the 2% were you referring to interac email transfers? if so, the answer is no - the only charge will be $1.50 to the sender. if geno were to go with this method i guess he would decide how this would be settled. i don't mind having the fee deducted as the transaction will be instantly processed directly into my bank account. normally i would be paying a higher fee to withdraw funds from an e-wallet account into my bank account.
