Sorry for hijacking this post
Dear all,
The latest information regarding these 6 casinos is that they will be taken under the wing of Casino Rewards. The expected date for the completion of everything so that they can re-open the casinos is 25th March 2008.
The following is a quote of information released by Rewards Affiliates (the affiliate company of Casino Rewards).
Quote:
All online casinos operating under the Casino Action group: Golden Reef, UK Casino Club, Nostalgia, iBig, Music Hall and Challenge, will soon be under the Casino Rewards management, and ready for a grand reopening on 25 March 2008.
All player accounts in the aforementioned casinos will be safely transferred to the Casino Rewards network, with all account balances, withdrawals, and bonus credits available for immediate use.
Happy Gaming Always,
Geno/CC
-------------- PREVIOUS NEWS ON THIS SUBJECT IS LEFT BELOW ----------------
Dear all,
I have just read the following information from a very reliable source (via CAP where many Casino Affiliates share information and much about the news in this business is heard first)...
Quote:
Casino Profit Share, just lost their MGS license about 16 hours ago and went into liquidation. As a result, affiliates are most likely NOT going to get paid and CAP definitely isnt getting paid for their membership either. Please remove CAP Certification immediately.
Obviously we will need to wait to see the full outcome of this and impact on our Slots Tourney.
I can say with 99.9% certainty now that any prizes due from this contest will NOT be paid out by Casino Action (because the accounts will most likely be frozen and 'bonuses' (which these effectively are when credited), would not be taken into consideration.
I am fairly sure that any winnings pending to players will be paid but it is really early days so as I'm sure you will appreciate for such shocking news to such a great group, it may take time to see this decision and any payments to be made.
From our point of view, we (the 'affiliate in this case) are unlikely to be paid by Casino Action for our advertising of them, HOWEVER - it is out intention to ensure that participants in our Slots Tourney for Feb 2008, will be paid prizes (as per the scores we have - still showing in the Tourney window - copied and pasted already just in case that goes ).
The value of these prizes may be different from those proposed but we really will have to see what we can afford to pay, bearing in mind we will not be receiving the money from them ourselves.
At the moment, I can't offer answers to any further questions on this very sudden and shocking news until more (official / credible) information is available and I don't like to speculate too much - rather wait until all the facts are available and then judge it from there.
Thank you all for your support and your understanding in this matter.
All Casino Action advertising will be removed gradually over the next week or so, but players will find they cannot register or anything anyway so there is no harm done by having banners showing here and there.
Best regards and Happy Gaming Always,
Geno/CC

Hi all, i just read on another forum that The company , Tusk, that owns the Casino Action group lost it's Microgaming license and is liquidating. It remains to be seen if the casinos are picked up by another buyer or what the future brings. However, for the time being, the casinos are not in operation.
This has really stunned a lot of people because the casinos do enjoy a good reputation.
I tried to log into my accounts and the games and banking pages are blank, i sure hope that this gets resolved as this group is one of my favourites and i'm sure many crushers favs also.

Hi there,
Rather than add to any 'rumors' I prefer to wait for the FACTS and I am holding judgement on this one and as far as I'm aware (with reassurances from my personal contacts at the casino), this is administrative issues which I hope to see resolved over the next few weeks but until something definite and official about the casinos (rather than their owning company) is posted then we are continuing 'as usual' with Casino Action. There are many possibilities and I don't want to add to the confusion so I would suggest that you also wait until formal messages are given)
I feel it sensible to LOCK THIS TOPIC (and PLEASE don't go posting loads more)... because until more FACTS appear, from experience - all the speculation that goes on from those that are 'in the know' or sometimes just llike to think or act as if they are.. it only serves to confuse / worry / make bad something which , purely be taken out of context (i.e. not knowing the whole story), could be just a normal business operation.
I would suspect after these posts have been made, support are getting hammered.
The only FACT I have seen so far is about Microgaming taking away the license from Tusk, and whilst that MAY BE something to be concerned about - my opinion (and therefore that of 'this forum owner') is to give them a bit of space to sort out and see what the options are / see if they have a plan which just hasn't come out / whatever.. but I wouldn't worry unnecessarily until we know anything definite
This topic is now closed and I would appreciate no more posting about this for now .. It is clear here already what the FACTS are so far.. so let's leave it there and I'll keep you posted as soon as I hear anything more from those at Casino Action / Microgaming or eCOGRA only.
That said, I can understand if players at these casinos would not want to deposit money further at the moment, awaiting these facts... Apparently it appears that the banking is not available anyway.. at least until we know what is happening and what will happen in the near future.
Cheers,
Geno/CC
